PHILOSOPHY LOOKING THROUGH TIME

 Volume  1

Fabio Squeo's book "Philosophy looking through time" is a journey through the great minds of human thought. With profound sensitivity, the author invites us to reflect on the significant contributions of philosophers, thinkers, poets, and mystics who have influenced the way we perceive the world and ourselves.

Each of the essays in this volume offers us a window into the thinking of emblematic figures such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, who laid the foundations of Western philosophy, and Descartes and Pascal, who explored the complex intertwining of rationality and spirituality.

Fabio Squeo does not limit himself to the classical names, enriching the philosophical landscape with reflections on modern and contemporary thinkers such as Sartre, Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Schopenhauer, each of whom has challenged our certainties and illuminated new horizons of understanding.

The author also gives space to mystics, religious figures, and poets such as Yogananda, recognizing the value of spirituality and beauty as necessary counterpoints to the rigor of analytical thinking. At the same time, he includes innovative figures such as Masaru Emoto, who put forward ideas that bring scientific thinking into dialogue with consciousness and energy.

Through "A Look at the History of Philosophy”, Fabio Squeo challenges us to engage with the ideas and perspectives that have shaped the history of human thought.

In this eclectic mix of voices, we find a valuable guide for navigating the deepest questions and seeking meaning in the complex landscape of our existence.

In conclusion, reading this book offers the opportunity to expand one's knowledge and embrace diversity of thought because, as Squeo teaches us, philosophy is not only an intellectual activity but a profound look into the heart of human experience. Through reflection on these great thinkers, "Philosophy looking through time" not only enriches our knowledge but also invites us to introspection, prompting us to confront the fundamental questions of life.

As we explore the multiple perspectives presented in the book, we are guided toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. In this light, philosophy becomes a powerful tool for personal transformation, helping us to become the best version of ourselves and chart a path of personal and spiritual growth.

PHILOSOPHY LOOKING THROUGH TIME

 Volume  2

This second volume in the series "Philosophy looking through time" is the natural evolution of a project, as ambitious as it is humble, that aims to "look" at philosophy as a bridge of knowledge, stretching between the pleasure of abstract thinking and real life, made up of choices, decisions, and actions. It is a bridge that will not definitively unite the two sides, but rather offers a crossing that is always promising, in the company of the best and most original ideas born in the great minds of the ancient and contemporary past.
The chronological order of the presentations remains random (as in the first volume); the selection makes no distinction between the great names and those improperly defined as 'minor', virtually unknown to the general public.
Fabio Squeo takes the reader who is passionate about life by the hand and accompanies them through the paths of thought, showing them how this world is fantastic, varied, unbounded, and surprisingly beautiful. In the harmony of the presentation of the theories of different thinkers, the author does not claim to develop their theoretical treatises in an academic, exhaustive manner (something reserved for philosophical dictionaries), but simply wants to open up insights, pique curiosity, infect passion, and convey the pleasure of knowledge.
The aim is not to provide information as if to accumulate knowledge or fill cultural gaps for the sake of narcissistic display, but to foster an intimate, necessary spiritual transformation that adds meaning and value to everyday life. Human beings live and express themselves in relationships with their fellow human beings, and it is in encounters with others that the human soul discovers the pleasure of existence. There are no better tools than those provided by philosophy to bring out the emotion of being.
In this book, you will encounter rational, concrete, hopeful, disillusioned, and tragic philosophers, all of whom are convinced that 'something' can be done to live on this earth in peace, freedom, and love.

BECOME WHAT YOU ARE

Nietzsche invites us not to align ourselves with conventional wisdom and to think for ourselves. He invites us to live life without hesitation, to distinguish the necessary from the superfluous, to choose concrete action over frivolous action. The social system is not always transparent and pushes toward conformity.

Nietzsche's Superman inspires you to invent new languages, to write poetry, to devote yourself to creative culture. He asks you to learn to respond and refute theses politely, but always with a clear and transparent conscience. All this promises the beginning of a new spring of your thought.
